Please welcome Tampa Area Pet Photographer Darci from Emma Grace Photography to the Session Spotlight!

I did this session with Pia Pia (pronounced pay-pay). Pia Pia was rescued by her mom and dad from a rescue group in Sebastian, FL when she was just 6 months old. She was nearly blind when they adopted her but thankfully they found a great vet who was able to save her sight. To this day, Pia Pia has no problems seeing at all. In fact, Pia Pia is now a Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) service dog for her dad. She has been one for the last 3 years. If anyone knocks on their door or rings the doorbell, she alerts them. She can even dial 911 too! Her story was featured on Fox News in West Palm Beach, FL as well as Fox News in Orlando and CNN. You can see more of her talents and what she can do for her dad in this video, which was featured on their local news: http://www.wptv.com/dpp/news/region_indian_river_county/vero_beach/trained-service-dog-taught-to-dial-9-1-1-for-owner-with-post-traumatic-stress-disorder  I had a great time with Pia Pia at our session. She really is a special pug!

I am based in Clearwater, FL and serve the surrounding Tampa Bay area. I am a born and raised FL girl who is owned by 2 pugs and married to my high school sweetheart. I volunteer my time to local rescue groups to help homeless pets find homes by taking pictures for them.
