Please welcome UK pet photographer Joanne Thibodeau to the Session Spotlight.
The session with Sandra, Karl and Keywest was done at a park in Sherbrooke, Québec, Canada (I was supposed to be on holiday!).  It was quite a cold day and very bright, hence a little challenging light-wise.
Arriving earlier at the park I decided to have a look around to find the best locations so I was prepared when my clients arrived.
Keywest is a young Nova Scotia Duck Tolling and still has his puppy look. He was easier to work with than I expected as he already knew how to sit and stay. I always do the ‘action’ shots at the end of the session and we did not know how it would go. First we tried Karl running next to him but with the leash but he kept trying to grab it!  So they took him off the leash and he was very good running from one person to the other making my job easier!
BIOMy name is Joanne Thibodeau and I live in Stockport, Cheshire, UK
I am a French Canadian as well as British and I specialise in Equine & Pet photography.  I have been working full time on my photography the last five months and it has always been my dream mine.  Unfortunately, I got side tracked for a while being a software developer but redundancy gave me the push to do it full time.
